CHAP: Couples Healthy Aging Project
Purpose
The aim of this project is to better understand the interpersonal component of conscientiousness, how it contributes to better cognitive health, and how it operates within a close relationship. In addition, middle adulthood is a critical period of the lifespan for cognitive health that is often overlooked. This work will lead to new knowledge on how interpersonal aspects of conscientiousness promote healthier cognitive aging and point to new prevention and intervention targets for promoting healthy cognitive aging across adulthood.
